1. Copyright Respect

HostVera respects copyright and other intellectual-property rights. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to content hosted through their accounts.

2. Copyright Complaints

A rights holder or authorized representative may submit a detailed copyright complaint through HostVera Support. A notice should identify the copyrighted work, identify the allegedly infringing material sufficiently to locate it, provide contact information, and include the statements and signature required by applicable law.

3. DMCA Designated Agent

Federal law can provide certain limitations of liability for eligible service providers that satisfy statutory conditions, including designation and maintenance of a DMCA agent. 4. Review and Response

HostVera may review a complaint and may remove, disable, restrict, or decline to act depending on the sufficiency of the notice, applicable law, the service involved, and the circumstances. Nothing here creates a duty beyond what applicable law requires.

5. Counter-Notices

Where applicable law provides a counter-notice procedure, an affected customer may submit a legally sufficient counter-notice. HostVera may follow the statutory process and applicable deadlines.

6. Repeat Infringement

Where appropriate and permitted by law, repeated credible infringement may result in warnings, restriction, suspension, or termination.

7. Other Intellectual Property

Trademark and other intellectual-property complaints may be handled separately under applicable law and contractual policies.

8. False Notices

Rights holders should submit accurate notices in good faith. Knowingly false or materially misleading claims may have legal consequences.
